Now in its’ 4th year the China Tennis Grand Prix Cup “Tennis Festival” has become a must-see tradition on the Luohu District (Shenzhen, Guangdong) calendar. Record crowds of close to 100,000 gathered at King Glory Mall over the weekend of November 13-14.
Drawing the largest interest within the “Tennis Village” was the new “Virtual Reality” interactive game. Other high-interest activities included the “WII Game” and “Serve Speed Machine”. Families with young children enjoyed playing tennis together on the mini-courts. Game & “Lucky Draw” prizes were distributed throughout the 2-day event.
As always, Shenzhen Municipal Government & Luohu District Government did a terrific job organizing community groups, school groups and a professional orchestra & band to provide non-stop entertainment while fans had their own chance to entertain the crowds at the “Karaoke Booth”.
The “Tennis Festival” is a key promotion activity for the China Tennis Grand Prix Cup, the Chinese national professional tennis championship, which commences on November 21st.
